Mission Statement

RHEUMEDI – Rheumatology Education & Innovation was founded in Toronto and incorporated in Ontario in 2025 by a team of clinicians and scientists committed to advancing rheumatology through education, research, and clinician support. We believe that progress in rheumatology requires the integration of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration.

Our mission is threefold:

• Education: We provide innovative, interactive, and practical learning opportunities for rheumatologists and trainees. From postgraduate courses to workshops and case-based learning, we emphasize the areas most critical for patient care, including early diagnosis, imaging interpretation, and evidence-based therapy.
• Research: We support the development and implementation of clinical and translational research that bridges scientific discovery with patient care. Our expertise includes epidemiological studies, interventional clinical trials, imaging-based research, and translational approaches using high-throughput technologies and advanced data analysis.
• Clinician Support: We recognize the challenges physicians face in managing complex rheumatic diseases. RHEUMEDI provides expert support in decision-making, helping clinicians navigate uncertainty – including imaging interpretation – and deliver the best possible care to their patients.
